Day Wise Itinerary

Day 2: ZAKYNTHOS Free day at leisure or OPTIONAL SHIPRECK AND BLUE CAVES BOAT TRIP on Sic Basis (Daily tour) Official rate 45 euro per adult & Official rate 32 euro per child The Zakynthos Shipwreck and Blue Caves begins early in the morning, with pick-ups by our 48 seated coach from nearly every holiday resort. Your first stop will be a fantastic photo opportunity at the top of the Alykes Hills. From here you can see all over the island of Zakynthos, as well as the mainland of Greece and the neighboring island of Kefalonia. After enjoying a beautiful drive along the northern coast of Zante we will stop at the enchanting bay of Makri Gialos to board the 2 speed boats for Shipwreck Bay and the Blue Caves. You will have a view of the charming Greek Island village Mikro nisi, as we make our way out to sea. The Shipwreck and Blue Caves boat trip features a ride on a 25 seated passenger, highly secure and ultra-fast speedboat with a glass bottom. Our boat excursion's first stop of the day is Shipwreck Bay. On our way we are often lucky enough to spot some dolphins and even the local the Monachus Monachus seal. The boat trip from Micro Nisi to Shipwreck Bay usually takes around 30 minutes. As the first arrivals to Shipwreck Bay every day we enjoy a very peaceful, and often exclusive, time on the famous Shipwreck Beach. Next on the itinerary of our boat excursion, is a boat trip into the beautiful Blue Caves of Zakynthos. We stop to take photos of the sea caves and arches, as well as the stunning translucent blue waters. Those who wish to fully experience the phenomenon of the Blue Caves can take a dip in the blue waters. By the time we return to land everyone is ready for a lunch and we eat(not included in the tour rate) with an enchanting view, overlooking the village of Micro Nisi. Our final destination is the natural Sea Spa of Xingia. The Xingia Spa Beach is a beautiful small sandy bay. The turquoise blue sea here contains traces of sulphur and collagen. The sulphur and collagen pours down from the mountains into the sea and has been proven to offer significant health benefits. A swim in the healthy waters, will revitalize your energy and polish your skin. Many visitors have reported feeling younger and relaxed due to this natural phenomenon in the North of Zakynthos. Day 3: ZAKYNTHOS Free day at leisure or OPTIONAL BACK TO THE ROOTS ISLAND TOUR (Every Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday -Saturday) Official rate 43 euro per adult & Official rate 32 euro per child (lunch not included in the rate) The Zakynthos island tour by bus excursion "Back to the Roots" is a truly unique trip. During this Zante island tour we journey off the beaten track to the most traditional villages on the island, completely away from mass tourism, and largely untouched by time. You will have the opportunity to see real Greek Island villages and experience day-to-day life in rural Zante. The tour starts from your resort, where the minibus will pick you up as arranged. We will make our first stop on this Zakynthos island excursion, in the charming village of Tragaki. Tragaki is characterized by white-washed stone walls and sweeping country views. Here we stroll through the village streets and get a feel for the laid-back Greek way of life. We will first continue our journey down the valley, set amongst beautiful vineyards, and stop at one of the most hidden jewel of Zakynthos, a village with its own olive mill museum, where we will have time to sit back for a nice Greek coffee while the locals are passing by, who will be very eager to talk to you. Then visit the traditional Greek roadside market where you will enjoy your free Greek snacks and wine-tasting: A slice of village bread, dipped in olive oil, with olives, oregano and local Zakynthian cheese called Lado-tiri you have the chance to try and buy some local products including: honey, oils, sweets. Our next destination on our unique Zante island tour is Kampi. Kampi located high along the Zakynthian white cliffs lends itself to the most breathtaking, panoramic sea views in all of Greece. Here you can enjoy delicious home-made Zakynthian meals while being serenaded by guitarist Nico and your guide. Finally. we head towards the Southern part of the island, to the modern olive factory Aristeon and the Ecological Olive Press complete with an olive oil museum, a tasting section and olive soap.
